My education before DTI focused on many steps to take before entering a trade to buy or sell…Trading was complicated.
I started learning to trade from another school in October of 2004. The classes there were very large and lacked opportunities to ask question and get any personal attention. I felt like they were teaching in order to get more product sales, not develop the student. Nonetheless, I went on to take their PhD program. When I started trading options and had questions, I would call and speak to someone who knew less than me. Finally, I decided I would not waste any more time or money on an education like that.....I decided that I would spend another year trying to learn to successfully trade, but by only attending any free classes that I could find.
After searching around, I went to a free seminar in San Diego and heard Tom speak for the first time. In between sessions I spoke with Tom, asking him some very pointed questions. There was no evasion or dodging, just direct answers. Without hesitation, I signed up for DTI that day.
My education before DTI focused on many steps to take before entering a trade to buy our sell. MACD, Stochastics, candles, hang men, shooting stars and cup and handles all of these and more had to be watched before I could pull the trigger. Trading was complicated.
DTI took the mystery out of trading and simplified the whole process of decision making. Now, after going all the way through the Diamond program and all of the seminars, I believe in myself again. DTI gave me rules to follow and taught me to read the market which in turn helps me to control my emotional battles. Because of my previous training, emotions were in my way, and I had a large fear of the market – now I focus on the numbers using the DTI Method, and I love numbers!
